On Friday, 24 October, the Seville Chamber of Commerce, together with the Inclusion Association, held the Meeting of Support Organisations for Migrant Women, an event that brought together companies, local agents, social organisations, foundations and migrant women entrepreneurs committed to the integration of migrant women into the labour market and entrepreneurship.
The event, held at the Chamber’s headquarters, was a success in terms of participation and collaboration, becoming a space for learning, exchange and shared excitement. Throughout the meeting, key issues were addressed, such as access to financing, simplification of procedures, digital and professional training, as well as the importance of accompaniment and support networks.
The event provided an opportunity to share experiences and best practices, strengthen cooperation networks, and design joint strategies aimed at building a more inclusive and sustainable ecosystem.
The meeting highlighted the contributions of the attendees, emphasising the inspiration and example offered by women entrepreneurs who courageously shared their stories of overcoming adversity.
The meeting is part of the activities of the European WISER project, funded by the AMIF Programme (Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund of the European Union), aimed at the labour market integration and entrepreneurship of migrant women.
The Chamber would like to thank all participating entities for their attendance and valuable contributions, which will enable the project to continue advancing successfully and, once completed, to highlight the results achieved: Federación Andalucía Acoge, UGT Seville, Fundación SAMU, Residencia Flora Tristán, Fundación Tres Culturas, Fundación Mornese, Asociación A.S.I.A, the Vice-Rectorate for Culture and Social Policies of Pablo de Olavide University, as well as the migrant women entrepreneurs who shared their experience and vision.
